We really are having epic sightings here in Zululand Rhino Reserve! Who says cheetahs can't climb trees or jump from heights?
Boom! Nailed it for the birdwatchers! These three photos were taken on yesterdays Fig Forest Walk. So I finally saw the Holy Grail of SA birdwatching! What birds are these?

Tembe is also the place where they have great and genuine entertainment, such as these singers from a local high school. Trust me, they are truly amazing! So much fun. Let's hope they perform for our guests tonight!
This time of year is also a great time to see the breeding herds of elephant at Tembe, which often show interesting behavior. This group was nervous as they picked up scent of lions, and gave us a threat display.
Although the mornings at Tembe are freezing cold this time of year, sightings are great! What would you like to see a photo of? Let us know so we can post one for you!

Our guide in Cape Town, Michel, has dropped off his guests here at CT Airport so they can continue their holiday with our guide Michelle who will take them through the Elephant Coast. Mkhuze is their first destination.
Today one family is in Cathedral Peak, hopefully doing the Rainbow Gorge walk where you can see this amazing sight!
And this family is enjoying the campfire in Mkhuze after having had an epic sighting of lions at kuMasinga hide!

Wow, and 1 of our groups that spend the last few nights in Mozambique got to swim with a whale shark!
Another family saw lots of whales at Hermanus yesterday, with the aid of the famous whale crier!
What a great feeling to know that we have 8 tours going at the moment, where our guests are experiencing the best of the Elephant Coast and the Drakensberg mountains. All groups are somewhere different now, we are in Tembe and this photo was 3 days ago!

Well, let's hope that all our guests traveling to the Cape come prepared with winter gear! Our guide in Cape Town just sent us this photo and told us it is six degrees Celsius there with snow in the mountains!
